season is upon us
and our days
become filled with
hurried attempts
to cram as much as
possible into our
already hectic lives.
We rush to
work.
Hurry to
decorate.
Make every
effort to purchase that
one perfect
gift for the people we love.
We over
extend ourselves in every way possible.
Often we
lose the most important
part of any
holiday:
Our Friends
It’s essential
to take a step back
from the
frenzied pace of our lives.
Vital that
we remember what the best part
of the
holiday season really is.
It’s not
what we receive.
It’s not
what we’re able to give.
It’s what
we can share together
You and I.
It’s love.
It’s joy.
It’s
friendship.
Today and
all through
this busy
season
I need to
tell you and
I want you
to remember
that you are
always held close.

and
In my heart.
